Chokolate de San Isidro

         Chokolate de San Isidro, Inc. (CSI) is a pioneering social enterprise in Davao del Norte, founded in 2009. From small-scale tablea production, CSI grew into a fully integrated cacao enterprise—from seedlings to exports—and became the first Philippine company to export cacao beans to Europe. Through its cooperative model, CSI empowers over 500 smallholder farmers with training, fair trade practices, and sustainable livelihoods. Known as “The Town That Cacao Built,” CSI embodies how cacao has transformed San Isidro’s identity and future.
